Peebles Plants is a wholesale plant grower and supplier of quality annuals, vegetables, herbs and perennials. We meet the needs of Garden Centers and Landscapers in and around Gauteng, Mpumalanga and the North West.

Since our small beginning in 1979, our company has grown to meet the demands of the green industry. Our speciality has always been colour seedlings, but we also grow a diverse range of vegetable and herb seedlings, ground covers and shrubs in large quantities. Our premium quality and diverse range make us an ideal supplier for Garden Centers, Landscaping companies and individual Landscapers.

Peebles Plants was started over 30 years ago by Di Goodwin in Kya Sands, Randburg. Her husband, Peter, joined her a few years later. Together with the Peebles team, they developed the instant colour concept when they noticed a lack of quick colour for gardens. They began producing instant colour in many different forms. First, there was the colour bag, closely followed by the 6-pack seedling tray. Later came the 9-pack tray and then bulk trays of ‘48’, ‘104’ and ‘200’ plants.

Peebles remains a family business, with Di and Pete’s son, Ryan, and their daughter Cary now taking over the reins. The Peebles team shares a passion for growing plants and quality customer service. Training and product knowledge are key elements that remain an ongoing contributor to the success of the business. We are always trialing new varieties and growing methods to bring you top quality at affordable prices.
